Having seen the success that you’ve experienced with this variety OW, I wondered if you sow and raise any plants for use during summer months? Or do you see summer as an opportunity to grow lots of other varieties and give the old Rouge Grenobloise a rest?

It’s an absolute winner in winter salads, along with Medania spinach; thanks for the recs! Tris

Hi Tris, yes I grow other varieties of lettuce in summer for different colours, flavours, textures, and Grenoble Red is less of a star in hot weather, though still good.
    Glad you have great harvests.

    Thanks Charles.

Do you know the venue yet for your gig in York next January? Will try and get down to it myself and I’ll mention it to a few growers and friends etc.
