I have 3 old baths on my allotment and have the following question. I have filled these baths up with compost. Should I empty these baths of compost after a growing season and put fresh new stuff in or just add new stuff on top? I have grown carrots and salads and beetroot like this. thanks

You could do either and in view of the large amount of compost involved, I would top them up for perhaps a couple of years before replacing all the contents. The level of compost will probably sink a good couple of inches this year so you should be able to add quite a bit.
