Help with growing Swede

I have had no success with growing Swede. Two years ago sowed direct and got a couple, last year tried sowing in modules and planted out and all that was produced were leaves. What size of modules do you use and at what stage do you plant out. I’m not sure if my modules were too small or I planted when they were too small.

I use 4cm modules, a little larger than for lettuce, and plant out a little larger than this, which is how my plants look now
Not sure why your plants make leaves only, maybe to do with spacing, soil quality, variety, sowing date…

Thanks for that Charles. I used slightly smaller modules and planted out when much smaller. I have 3 varieties this year which I have just sown, now it’s wait and see.
