Hot bins

I’m seriously wondering about getting a hot bin – we’re having problems with rats in and around my compost bins and I’ve read that hot bins are vermin proof, plus can be fed with a lot more stuff, even cooked food (and even including bones etc) and therefore can produce significantly more compost, and a lot faster too. Any thoughts or experiences would be much appreciated – thanks.
