Hi Does anyone know how long it takes Purple Sprouting and Kale seeds to germinate.
I am going away on holiday from 9th June for one week and do not know whether to sow seeds before I go or wait till afterwards. I was planning to ow then in a greenhouse in root trainers so I should not have to thin out. Or is it better to sow in small trays and prick out afterwards. i do not hav ethe room for more than 6 of each.Thank you for all your advice
With fresh seed surface sown on gentle heat, it can be within 24 – 36 hours Jacqui. I’m not sowing psb for another week or so, in trays to then prick out. Just my preference though.
