My perennial kales have done really well last year but have grown aross the bed rather than vertically so have taken up more space than I would like. So anyone got any advice on how to prune a perennial kale, all I can find on the web is to cut the stem back to just above the first leaves.

    Thanks
    Steve

Cut back maybe less hard than that Steve, and remove a few stems too, plus staking is possible to keep them upright. They can be quite high maintenance.
