Ordered my horse muck for next Monday and Tuesday 2 loads per day roughly 1.5 tons per load. Will clear the aubergines and peppers out of one side of the polytunnel, clear two of my outside beds this weekend in readiness
This much will put approx 3 inches on the beds and mulch round all the soft fruit , any left will go in the compost bins

Put one trailer load on the beds today some in the polytunnel and the rest on the empty beds spread so that it went about three inches deep. Very well rotted it was more like compost than manure no smell and spread easily.
Another load booked for Wednesday morning.

Offwego maybe do a bioassay for aminopyralid, unless you are using the same trusty source.
    See the thread “Horse manure”
    Hope it’s good

    Hi Charles

Fortunately there is no need , it’s from the same source and the same pile as last year without anything added to it since.
Had the best year ever this year using this and the no dig system so why change a winning formula 👍
