jermor shallots

    hope your having a good xmas

    ive been given some over wintering jermor shallots and lautrec garlic.

    i have put them in small pots in m/p compost in a cold g/house. i hope to plant them out in the spring.

    what chances of success kind sir

     Thanks for your good wishes. Every chance of success in what you describe and you could even plant them direct in the soil as they are so hardy. Bringing them on in the greenhouse will gain some growing time though. Garlic does better the earlier it is started off but shallots can be started off as late as March.
