Hi Charles, a quick question about leaf mould. I have an old wheelie bin full of leaves from last year which have broken down to about half the size and look like what you would find on a forest floor. Do I need to wait until it is compost before I use it? I am planning a new raised bed this autumn, what would be the best way to use the leaf mould – as a mulch on present beds or where in the mix in the new one?
    THanks,
    Ruth

Sorry, should have added another option for the leaf mould – i plan to move some balckberry bushes later in the year – would that be a better use of the leaf mould?
