I found an old packet of kohl rabi seed, so sowed 2 to 4 seeds per module in the hope that a few might come up. Pretty much all of them have germinated, so I was wondering would it be better to treat them like beetroot and plant out in clumps to grow on, or to prick them out individually?

I have not tried them in clumps, the roots would be smaller and I would not allow more than two in a clump. Impressive germination, interesting how brassica seed keeps so well.

Many thanks for replying, it is a surprise how well the seeds have done considering they’ve been kept in a warm room for the last 5 years! I’ll try a few pairs and see how they do.
