I have recently started to spread cardboard on my front lawn in an attempt to kill the weeds and grass without digging. I had some homemade compost that I applied on top of the cardboard and then planted some strawberry runners from my 2 yr old strawberry patch in the backyard. I am part of the Lawns to Gardens project in the area where I am living in Nova Scotia, Canada. I include a few photos of my humble beginnings.
