    Hello Charles
We have an abundance of Beech nut husks at this time of year which do not compost very well or speedily. We’d like to use them as mulch (instead of bark chippings) on the paths in-between the raised beds in our veg garden, do you know of any reason why we shouldn’t use them in this way? As we get an annual supply of these husks, it would be great if we could make use of them. Thank you

Karen, yes you can use them for path mulch, and make a pile of any leftover husks to decompose for use next autumn.
