Pinching out broad beans

    Hello Charles

    Should I pinch out the tips of my broad beans now that they are setting pods? I have no blackfly yet.

    No Eliza it’s to early. The flowers/fruits may be frosted this week.
    After that it turns warmer and it’s your choice, pinch out when you have enough pods for your needs.

    Hello all

    Being a novice broad bean grower I picked one of my quite large looking broad beans from a plant today (Autumn sown Aquadulce) but the beans inside still looked quite small so I presume not ready yet. When roughly should November beans be ready?
