Is this a good idea i wonder on my uchiki kuris? I read somewhere that once 6 fruits are set on a plant, it’s worth pinching out the growing tips.. any thoughts?

It partly depends whether you are running out of space for them. More leaves mean more fruit so you don’t want to overdo it but I reckon some pinching out is good, or pushing stems back into their growing area to keep plants more compact.  I let them run over paths to some extent.

thanks charles, my paths are already disappearing! when they become a nuisance i shall attempt to stem the tide!

As an aside i accidentally pinched out a courgette growing tip when taking off a leaf on the growing stem! oops.. I hope it will send out another..
