I have access to free horse poo (fresh but not steaming) which I used last year with great success for your “No Dig”.

I have just made some new raised beds on sandy ground which has a few weeds but are not a major issue. Have laid cardboard down, started to add the horse poo and put old plastic on top, I intend to keep adding horse poo for next month then leave it till next year.

As I have lots of cardboard, would it be good to put it on top instead of the plastic or on top under the plastic?
