Hi I am struggling to find someone in the Northern home counties, who will erect a polytunnel for me. I have neither skills, tools or time to do it myself and the company supplying want a lot of money due to the distance their guys will have to travel.

Also, if I plant Comfrey on the north side of my polytunnel, will it travel in to the tunnel and cause problems?

    Thanks

I don’t think that comfrey would spread laterally through buried polythene but if you opt for batten-sides, unburied, then weeds can invade more. It will such moisture in summer so not too close.
    What about First polytunnels?

Thanks for the information Charles. I have contacted First tunnels, who have been very helpful, but because they are so far away it effectively doubles the installation cost to cover the guys traveling time.
