    Good Morning
I wonder if anyone can help me, last Autumn we laid down about 8″ of compost to create another bed, over the winter and recently with all the rain we have had I have notice ponds developing and the compost is very wet, it is only in one area of the bed, Rich thinks it is the lowest point, but I am not sure why the area is so wet it is just compost we laid on top. The rest of the area is fine and ready to sow in. Can anyone help and explain what I should do? Or shall I just just plant celeriac and celery in the wet area?

I guess the area was wet before, maybe there is a bigger issue of site drainage, or perhaps it needs time for worms to improve drainage.
Was it green waste compost? because that can lie wet until the microbes colonise it.
