    Hi Charles great new website.

I have a question about tomatoes and other heat loving veg after they germinate on a heat bench. Are they best taken off the heat as soon as they break the surface like other seeds or are they ok left on until the weather gets a bit warmer. Or whats best

    Thanks

No rush to move them off the heat. I leave my tomatoes on the hotbed until about four weeks old, partly because it can freeze in the greenhouse until about mid April.
The plants I move off heat when v small are onion, beetroot, lettuce, spinach etc, not the warmth lovers.
