I have a very successful year in my new no dig beds in 2018 but got to a point where I gave away a lot of plug plants as I have no more room in my beds. But by October they suddenly looked empty. I had some leek and purple flowering broccoli but would like to grow more leeks and winter brassicas. I have since seen Charles grow on leeks into slightly bigger pots for later planting out and will try that this year. I’m also keen to see whether I can raise some cabbage (especially red) and Brussels sprouts in pots until late September. As any one got experience with this or any other winter veg? I assume they may have a bigger transplant shock being bigger but was thinking it’s worth a try as my vegetable bed space is limited?
