    Hello Charles

I never managed to pick up recommended varieties of chillies and peppers from your updates and forum (only few in your books). I would love to know what are your favourites at the moment in terms of yield and flavour.

Any other gardeners’ recommendations would be appreciated too!

I grow mine in a poly tunnel I have been growing from plugs but this year from seed under light to get an early start.
My favourites are cayenne, jalapeƱo,Apache, scotch bonnets Hungarian
I have also read that you can use the plants for years so will be giving this a go

My two favourites are Pimiento Padron, the Spanish “tapas pepper” which can be eaten fried. And Jimmy Nardello, originally from Italy, which is a long red sweet variety.

I grow Hungarian paprika peppers, to dry and grind. Nothing tastes as good as home produced paprika and so far they have survived winter in the greenhouse.
