    I need to start my rhubard from seed as crowns are not readily available in my part of Spain and those that are, the fruit is….bleeeuuuuuggghhhhh!
    The seed from the main companies are of varieties that seed to have poor reviews re flavour. Any advice on yummy varieties and where I can get the seed from please?

    It might be that rhubarb does not do well in your area, it being from a cold area originally. I have Timperley early, which has good flavour, not sure if it suits your climate. Maybe you need local varieties. Friends grow three varieties and say Timperley is the best of the three.
