I recently read an article of Root Chervil (not herb chervil) that it is similar to parsnip but much sweeter. Sowing starts in mid Autumn, the seed it seems can be difficult to germinate and when or if successful it takes a year to harvest, possibly why it has become un-fashionable, though apparently it is used frequently in France.

Main seed suppliers do not list the seed but our allotment shop have some and I would like to try a packet. Would anyone have any suggestions on sowing please? Many Thanks.
    Regards.
    Ron.
