Hi, I have always used a crop rotation method in my small veg plot, but now I am embracing the No-Dig system I was wondering whether to plant my potatoes in the same place next year. This soil has been disturbed, through digging the potatoes out, so I want to plant next years more shallow and earth them up more and hopefully, will be able to pull them out, rather than dig them up. My other reason is there are always some left behind and I don’t want to plant and have them pop up between other plants!
Thank you for any advice, Jan

Jan it could be awkward having loads of potato plants growing together, with small tubers as a result.
However your point is valid and I often grow the same veg two years running. So it’s up to you, and apart from “weed potatoes” confusing your harvest (or perhaps they won’t) it sounds a good plan.
