    Having germinated Lettuce seeds in the warmth of the kitchen, will they survive an unheated greenhouse immediately? They will no doubt go leggy on the window cill.

    Yes fine, I would read my February update where I say this
    ‘All the sowings I recommend here can tolerate freezing’ (also sweet peas by the way)

    and its another reason to hold back on sowing tomatoes.
