Sheep poo

Happy new year Charles. I have access to sheep poo should I treat this the same way as with other manures.

Yes the same, it wants composting before spreading for veg growing.

No bedding just picking it up from field. Was going to add it to my compost bins. Just wondered if I could use it as a mulch as long as it doesn’t touch plants.

My grandad always carried a couple of plastic bags and a small shovel in the boot of his car, for occasions such as these. Up on the North Yorkshire Moors he’d break open the ‘gardening kit’ and collect some sheep dung for the compost heap. Must admit, the idea has since passed my mind a few times…good idea Stu.
