    Hi Charles,

Was curious as to what you are currently growing as clumps or singles

I’m leaning towards wanting to grow everything as a single (pea shoots aside) as it is so much easier to keep a nice tidy plant with no nooks for slugs to lurk, but especially with the 3 below , one would lose quite a bit of yield

What is your current preference for dill, sorrel and spinach for spring leaves – clumps or singles? 2 or 3 plants per clump?

Hello Dan, funny you should mention this as I was thinking this afternoon while picking Green Frills mustard, how easy and abundant it is from one plant per clump.
Whereas spinach leaves do grow a bit big for salad esp by March so two max works well here. For same reason I do 2 or 3 Broad Leaved sorrel per clump, for salad.
Dill is ok as one or two.
    Happy sowing!
