    Hi, Planted so autumn asparagus in OCT 2015 in a well drained raised bed. Out of about 20 plants, maybe 6 have not come up at all this summer.

    Is it possible that the missing plants will come up in future years (ie the roots are still underground and growing fine) or is it more likely they are dead as they did not come up?

    No they are dead I’m afraid and I would plant more.
    I find that March planting sees closer to 100% survival.
