    Hi Guy’s

    If I put a layer of compost over fresh cut grass and seeded some green manure, could that stop the grass growing back? Or would I have to dig up and completely remove the grass first?

    See references to ‘cardboard’ in the site search box above. Use green manure that will die of frost during winter, such as brown mustard seed
