Just about to start with out first allotment. It’s clay soil and thankfully doesn’t have too many weeds. We’re going to try no dig, starting with clearing the weeds and covering it with a layer of mushroom compost. Is this the right thing to do or should we first layer with cardboard?
When can we start to plant? And what should we look to plant given the time of year?
