This is the best forum and site for information on the internet.
A bit like the others I check it daily during the cooler months and maybe weekly during the growing season when busy even though I don’t log in.
It’s been invaluable to me for answers I need answered.
Charles you are an inspiration. Keep up the great work.
1st July 2019 at 10:53 am #70506I must admit that like others I would miss this forum.
I have not posted anything on here for a while but do like to visit and read others’ questions and answers, and by doing so, often find that I don’t need to ask the question myself, if that makes sense. It is very informative and easy to use.As for Facebook, I am not a fan at all. I am a member of the Facebook group for our allotments, but that’s it.
1st July 2019 at 3:37 pm #70507Not on Facebook, but a frequent lurker in this forum – thought I should put my hand up and say ‘hello!’
8th July 2019 at 3:10 pm #70553I have just joined as I want to try no dig methods on my allotment. I looked for advice on the Facebook page and it is very difficult to find information that you need. Facebook is good for inspiration and sharing of ideas but the forum gives chance to explain topics in more depth.
19th July 2019 at 3:40 pm #70611I am new to this forum and would like it to continue if possible. It’s helpful to also search back through the older posts as well.
Thanks4th August 2019 at 7:15 pm #70664I am an infrequent poster but I try to contribute to other posts when I post a question of my own
I have had really useful answers to my questions and found it invaluable
I hope it can continue but understand the tech constaints may make it difficult
Best wishes
Alastair9th August 2019 at 11:45 am #70673Hi Charles. I will never use FB. Under any circumstances! I have posted replies on this forum in the past but summer time constraints when I am at the allotment mean that I am more likely to be on my computer in winter. I used to have a forum page at the cricket club for player availability, tea rota etc. but it was plagued by spam so I closed it. Therefore I understand your dilemma but hope that you can keep it open. Best wishes, Kev Lane
10th August 2019 at 9:37 pm #70680Hi Charles
I find the Forum very interesting and supportive. It is nice to think you are not along with gardening problems. I will not use Facebook due to its bad reputation for nasty posts .
I do so hope you can keep the forum going.
Best wishes from the Cotswolds.
