I must admit that like others I would miss this forum.
I have not posted anything on here for a while but do like to visit and read others’ questions and answers, and by doing so, often find that I don’t need to ask the question myself, if that makes sense. It is very informative and easy to use.
As for Facebook, I am not a fan at all. I am a member of the Facebook group for our allotments, but that’s it.
I have just joined as I want to try no dig methods on my allotment. I looked for advice on the Facebook page and it is very difficult to find information that you need. Facebook is good for inspiration and sharing of ideas but the forum gives chance to explain topics in more depth.
I am an infrequent poster but I try to contribute to other posts when I post a question of my own
I have had really useful answers to my questions and found it invaluable
I hope it can continue but understand the tech constaints may make it difficult
Hi Charles. I will never use FB. Under any circumstances! I have posted replies on this forum in the past but summer time constraints when I am at the allotment mean that I am more likely to be on my computer in winter. I used to have a forum page at the cricket club for player availability, tea rota etc. but it was plagued by spam so I closed it. Therefore I understand your dilemma but hope that you can keep it open. Best wishes, Kev Lane
