    Hello Charles

I have about 30-50 strawberry runners that were made to root up in 3-4in pots. Is it too late to plant them in the ground in a new bed? Would it help them establish if I covered them with fleece?

You can most certainly plant them now, a good idea, they will make new roots in autumn’s warm soil. I would not cover with fleece until say April, if you want some earlier fruits.
