Hi I am looking for advice on keeping seedlings alive whilst away on holiday.
I have a greenhouse full of seedlings, both vegetables and flowers, which are growing away lovely but not big enough to plant outside just yet.
However I am going away on holiday for 4 nights at the end of April and wondered how I can ensure the seedlings do not dry out whilst away. Also I am due to sow more vegetables soon like courgettes, leeks, and French beans. Should I sow before I go away or wait until returning.

    Advice please

    Thank you

    Ho hum! No holidays!!
Saturated capillary matting or newspapers /cardboard under all trays and pots should hold enough for 4 days. Last year, a pair of scrap lined curtains held out for a full week.Underlay all with a sheet of polythene as a membrane.
