Hello everybody.
I have just taken over a new allotment plot which I intend to work with the no dig method .
At the moment I have no source of manure and only a limited amount of homemade compost
Would the use of multi purpose compost and bagged farmyard manure , the types you would buy from the garden center be any good to use ?
In theory these will work fine, but will cost you an absolute fortune in quantity. Do you have a local farmer you could ask about a bulk delivery, or some local stables with an old pile, or a green waste centre? Best of luck.
