This summer all my PSB and then my cauliflower got white patches on underneath of leaves. In my stupidity I thought these were eggs of cabbage white so went round trying to rub them off. Now i’ve googled it and it looks like it was Albugo or white blister. My PSB ended up with floury deposits all over stalks too. I had also planted them far too close together which I now realise will encourage disease to spread.
How can I prevent this from happening next year?
I was planning to start a new bed about 20m away from old bed is that far enough if the spore is in the soil?
Are any other plant families vulnerable?
Thanks for all the help so far!
