    Hi Everyone,
I have one plant of Uchiki Kuri and one of Crown Prince. I’ve never grown them before and wonder at what stage to harvest them. I’m trying to give them as long as possible but am getting nervous that I could lose them to an early frost. My allotment is 8 miles away and I can’t get there every day (nor hear the weather forecast that often!) I’m in Cambridgeshire. Photo attached.
    Thank you

Jan, I would harvest the Kuri now as they are not maturing any more, having lost their leaves.
Whereas the Crown Prince still have leaves and are worth leaving. There is no risk of frost now for at least two weeks, so harvest early October could be good.

    Thanks Charles,
I lost most of my tomatoes to slugs and didn’t want to lose these too.
