    Hi Charles, cheers for the reply. I think viridor might not quite do my area but woodland horticulture seem like a good shout and there prices seem good, so thanks for that. Their cheapest price seems to be for their mushroom compost, is this not usually a little bit more expensive generally? It does contain horse manure though, which I’m wary of as have had weed problems from it in the past. I take if you have used them before you have never had problems with their stuff.

    Many thanks Charles that’s good to know.

    Btw just got a copy of your myths and misconceptions book, great idea for a book and very interesting. Have long been frustrated by gardening books as most tell you things to do but not always why they’re done or the exact reason or science behind it and a lot of things just aren’t questioned.
