There is a lady that uses the plastic trays fishermen use for thier catch and has a great success. She uses empty ones to raise the hight of the growing tray to her prefered level.

Thanks Don, I could not understand why people stored in bags, thought perhaps I was missing something. Need to upgrade from 2 daleks & manure to pallets.

How should bags of horse manure be stored in the black plastic bags they come in or empty it out into a pile?

Here in Noth Norfolk I can get mushroom compost 5 x bags (assume 40lit) £10 or bulders bag £35/40.

There is a shop called Roys tha do 60 lt bags at £2.99

When been to tip the council bags seem rather expensive at around £5 bag no idea of size would suspect 40 lit.
