What spacing is recommended for strawberries?
Monty had this problem as well that I saw on GW a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly he said the same thing. Didn’t get cold enough.
Quick update. Looks good to me.
Excellent thank you.
I was given about 5 elephant garlic cloves and I have ordered, some early purple and some Solent Wight to share with my cousin.
I am curious about potato peeling and old whole potatoes.
I guess that the potato peelings compost down but I am curious about old potatoes. Should then be mulched up first somehow, to stop them growing?

I suspect that you already have the book by now. I bought three of Charles’ books and read them all cover to cover on my holiday.
There will of course be some repetition but that only helps to make it all stick.
I would also agree with Charles and get – How to create a new vegetable garden.
You could then move on to Organic Gardening: The Natural No-dig Way which gives more details on sowing, planting. It also cover more on what to follow with what.
All looks okay.
Thank you Charles I will try it when I get back.
Excellent. Thank you Charles.
I have watched all your YouTube videos and look forward to reading your books mentioned above next week.
Typical that when I go away the weather changes to summer here.
Thank you for taking the time to reply Charles.
Can I just check one point. At the end of October when I lift the polythene and clear away the debris underneath.
Should I then put down the manure and compost and recover, or I should I put the compost & manure down in May?
n.b. I have the patience, I just want to get the steps correct.
Not sure why the pic won’t load as I have reduced them to 1200×800 and all under 50kb
